Project and Service Archives

This is a running history of our club's projects and services. It also includes those projects and services accomplished by individual members as well, because at the end of the day, it's who we've touched not who gets the credit.

Seedlings in the City, Saturday, November 7th, 2009
Seedlings in the City is looking for neighborhoods in which to plant elm trees. Last year, Seedlings in the City planted 126 trees in East Nashville in remembrance of the 10th year anniversary of the tornado.

This year Seedlings in the City is looking for other neighborhoods who would like trees planted free-of-charge. They even do the planting! American Elms are prized for their lovely arching branches that provide shade, make homes more energy efficient and add beauty and value to neighborhoods. These aren’t just any trees. They’re American Elm seedlings from a champion tree.

The trees will be planted on Saturday, November 7th. For more information or to
sign-up to for a free tree, please contact Becky Dan at beckyjdan@hotmail.com or
(615) 296-0642 extension 568. The deadline to sign-up is November 1.

This event is sponsored by Stites and Harbison Lawfirm.
