About Our Club

Bellevue's Exchange Club's Historical Beginning
The Exchange Club of Bellevue was chartered by the National Exchange Club on Saturday, May 22, 1976 at the Barn Theater on Hwy 100. Our first Exchange Club officers were:
 
President: Leo Mitchell
Vice-Presidents: John Furgess, Jr., and Robert Lineweaver, Sr.
Secretary: Edward Mauer
Treasurer: Steve Hamsley
 
Mission Statement
Exchange, America's Service Club, is a group of men and women working together to make our communities better places to live through programs of service in Americanism, Community Service, Youth Activities, and its national project, the Prevention of Child Abuse.

Bellevue Exchange Club
The Bellevue Exchange Club is committed to serving our community in a number of ways. In addition to supporting the Exchange Club Family Centers for the prevention of child abuse, we also undertake other projects as well to either raise needed funds or provide essential community services. In addition, we strive to learn more about the issues of our community and communicate with government officials through our weekly speaker program. Learn more:
